This is a nice running and driving suburban. It has had some body work on the drivers side rear as shown and a little rust hole in the rear barn door frame (shown). The rest is pretty well rust free. I wound up with this truck after an estate was settled from a death in the family. I have no real use for it so I am putting it up as a no Reserve auction. - for the record I did not get it for free. My brother in law got it through the estate and he did not want or need it, so I bought it from him to use as a camping/fishing rig. I gave it a try, but I already have a good camping/fishing truck and can’t justify two. I really don’t want to argue with someone about what it’s worth so it’s here with no Reserve. Bid what you want to pay, then come get it 4 wheel drive works, I have put 600 trouble free miles on it. AC works and is cold-ish, but won’t cool you down on a summer day. Cruise works, radio does not (Speakers inop). Power door locks work most of the time and power windows are slow and sometimes need help going up. No third row seat There are receipts showing a rebuilt trans and a what I believe to be a crate engine installed about 10,000 miles ago (several years ago in time1GKEV16K4LF531536). Runs and drives smooth. There must have been some front end work done because it drives very nice and goes straight as an arrow down the road. Tires are ok. Feel free to contact me with questions. Up for sale is our much beloved 1999 GMC Suburban SLE 2500 with the 7.4L/454 V8 engine. We purchased this Suburban in the spring of 2007 in Idaho to transport our growing family and it has served us faithfully ever since. It has been the perfect vehicle for our family, but we have since outgrown it and moved into a full-sized van. This Suburban is the 3/4 ton 2500 SLE trim suburban, which means it has cloth seats and can seat 9 because of the first-row bench seat. It has 155,829 miles on the venerable GMC 7.4L/454 Vortec V8 engine which provides plenty of 'get up and go' as well as incredible hauling power. We averaged 12-14 mpg driving on the freeway; in town we averaged 10, which is fantastic for such a big vehicle. The engine is incredibly strong, shifts cleanly, and doesn't leak. This engine is one of the best that GMC ever made. The Suburban is in very good shape, both inside and out. The interior is very clean, no rips in the upholstery or carpet, nor any major stains. The 1st row and 2nd row center arm consoles function as they should. The head liner, vents, controls, dials, gauges, and Pioneer radio/CD player all work as they should. The heat is hot and the A/C is cold. It has rear A/C, power windows, power locks, and a powered driver's seat. It also has a Tekonsha 90885 Prodigy P2 Electronic Brake Control installed. I’m also including custom-fit tow mirrors. The exterior of the Suburban is also in very good shape; much better than most Suburban’s you'll find on the market of this year. The paint is still glossy and bright. With the exception of the left rear corner that has a nickel-sized ding, the rest of the body is free from any major dents or scrapes—it only has the minuscule dings that happen to every vehicle. The Suburban comes with a tow package. I’ve replaced the front turn lamps and headlights. The Suburban drives straight and true and has a commanding view of the road.In August of 2016 in preparation to move to Oklahoma City we made several repairs (see below) and purchased 4 brand new tires—Cooper 265/75R16 AT3 Discovery (load rating E) that have less than 10,000 miles on them. Additional things you’d want to know:* There is a false reporting on the Autocheck which indicates there is a lien on this vehicle. That is incorrect. We have held the title free and clear since 2010. The Autocheck also reflects that we have held the title since March of 2010, but they are not willing to correct the additional error in their reporting. Feel free to call the Oklahoma motor vehicle department if extra assurances are needed. *The 3rd row right side directional vent is missing. Heat and A/C still comes out of the vent, you just can’t direct the flow. *The plastic piece on the back of the 2nd row seat that holds the floor extension to the back of the seat is missing. If you're in the market looking for a nice Suburban that can transport people, haul and tow anything you throw at it, all at the same time, you've found a gem. This is the last year for this body style, and it has a classic, brawny ‘go anywhere’ look with the capabilities to match. She’s in great shape both inside out, strong mechanically without any problems, and has low miles which means years and years of life left! We have the title in hand, have all the repair records, and are willing to answer any questions. She's been our baby for years and we've taken good care of her. If you’ve done your research and gone online and looked for a Suburban from this era, you know you'll be looking for a while to find a better Suburban on the market in this good of shape.
